The first week of November is very active, astrologically speaking. The Sun, Mars, and Mercury will be in 180-degree oppositions to Jupiter and Uranus. This represents disruptions, often of a financial nature. And, at the rate Congress is going, it may represent either the impending government shutdown or some very harsh negotiations around the Federal budget. Uranus and Jupiter in conjunction can bring excellent luck, but I think the aspect between these two planets is still separated enough that this is unlikely.
In addition, Venus will be in opposition to Neptune. This creates a dreamy imaginative energy, but not the clearest of thinking. Virgos may be particularly susceptible to overextending themselves. However, Venus is also forming a trine with Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn. This is one of the nicest astrological configurations. It could be beneficial for budget negotiations. And if you are an Earth sign (Capricorn, Taurus, And Virgo) this energy may be very beneficial for you.
In the second week of the month, Mercury will be in a 90-degree square to Saturn and this might bring some pessimism and gloomy thinking with it. Then on November 13 Mars will be conjunct the New Moon and both will be opposing Uranus. This could be a destabilizing influence and if we do not see evidence of this at home, we will probably see it abroad.
Mars remains in conjunction with the Sun for the remainder of November and this is a lot of stimulation that can have either an energizing effect or an anxiety producing effect. Both planets will also be in 90-degree square aspects to Saturn, so I imagine the effect will be more dampening than energizing. All three planets will form a T-square with the Full Moon on November 27th which is after the Thanksgiving weekend. Although that is after Thanksgiving, you might be feeling these aspects earlier. This is not exactly “happy, happy, happy’ energy and laying low might be the best solution. Black Friday might be best participated in from behind your computer screen. Try to get that shopping all finished by December 14th, when Mercury goes retrograde
