Plan to hit the ground running in early 2024. When Mercury goes direct on January 2nd we have to opportunity to move into the new year with energy. And after Uranus goes direct on January 27th, we have two whole months without any retrograde planets. It will be full steam ahead.
If you are an Earth sign (Virgo, Capricorn, or Taurus), Jupiter and Uranus will be working hard on your behalf in the first five months of 2024. These two planets are starting to close the gap on an exact conjunction, one of the luckiest aspects in twelve years. We will have to wait until April for both planets to reach 22 degrees of Taurus, but many will already be feeling the positive energy these planets can bring us if we open to the experience. I also believe we may see some new advances that will help us manage our planet as good stewards.
Air signs (Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius) will be in the spotlight in January too. On January 22nd, Pluto will change signs and move into Aquarius. With Pluto in Capricorn, the material and economic shifts where deep and stratifying. Pluto in Aquarius will bring the use of intellect and technology to the forefront. There will also be greater awareness of social issues and human rights. However, how this plays out depends greatly on how we choose to implement the solutions. Pluto will not let us brush aside pressing issues. It will put them in our face until we respond.
Think back to December 20, 2020 when Jupiter and Saturn met at 0 degrees of Aquarius. This was, in my opinion, the real beginning of the Age of Aquarius. Technology has brought us big advances in technology and communications. For example, consider the impact of AI and ChatGPT. But we haven’t yet learned how to utilize these advances for humanity’s greater good, an Aquarian imperative. Instead, we seem to have created a communications black hole or Tower of Babel. We can communicate rapidly and in ways our parents or grandparents never thought possible, but it hasn’t enhanced our mutual understanding or empathy one iota. Pluto is now entering zero degrees of Aquarius and revisiting the energy of December 2020. With Pluto in Aquarius, communicating from a place of integrity will be of the upmost importance.
