Astrology is my avocation…
My primary work is as a Naturopathic Doctor. My interest in astrology began early in life when my grandmother introduced me to it when I was a teenager. This prompted me to ask for a copy of Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs for one of my birthdays. After reading her book I was hooked. I began studying astrology in earnest in the early 1980’s. For most of the past 40+ years, I have regarded this as a hobby.
My “real life” work is as a Naturopathic Doctor. I’ve been doing that successfully for over 25 years now. In 2008 a good friend asked me to write a column for the newsletter she put out at her meditation center. That’s when my quarterly Astrological Musings column was born.
After I started writing my column, I recognized that many naturopathic clients were also feeling the astrological trends I was writing about. They probably didn’t realize it, but the things they were saying in my office made it clear that they were tuned into the planetary energies. Inevitably, when I would look up their birthday, I could see that one or more of their natal planets was being activated by a significant planetary transit.
It occurred to me that some of my clients could benefit from an additional perspective on the challenges they were feeling in their lives and in their wellness process. As a healer, I decided to start offering readings that emphasized identifying and navigating the planetary energies that may detour an individual in achieving their life’s purpose, their highest spiritual potential, or from healing on the deepest level.
When doing a reading, I strive to bring people clarity about themselves and their experiences. Astrology informs us that everything comes in energetic cycles and that we can learn to work with these cycles in ways that contribute to our self-awareness and personal growth. I also explore the energy that can assist an individual in realizing their aspirations and their spiritual and healing potential.

Additional Interests
I teach CME approved classes to my professional colleagues. Meditation has been a consistent discipline for over 40 years.
My daughter, reading, traveling, cooking, writing, painting, and photography also bring me joy.
Receiving an astrological chart reading from Holly was such a gift. She was able to describe me and my complex life events in a way that not only made me feel known – but helped me understand where I am headed in this life and important growth opportunities moving forward. My chart reading helped highlight areas of fear/tension and where things seem to be effortless for me. I learned a lot! Mostly, she was able to hold a space for me with grace and empathy as I looked at my life. This was a blessing and I look forward to sending more people her way!
